31.

I mean, really, where does time go... Today has been a great day with breakfast at Chickfila, over 100 Facebook birthday wishes (what did I do on my birthday before FB?), supper at Nagoya, and a little IceAge:Dawn of the Dinosaurs! Of course, Tanner and I had to use the new mixer last night to make some cheesecake brownies...yum.
31 wonderful memories from 31 years-accepting Christ in third grade, a great family-two wonderful parents and a brother, kick the can & other fun neighborhood games, Country Club, water skiing, snow skiing, Smith Lake, a wonderful youth group and church family-Kosy & Oxford, GAF's salad bar, Lolly Dude's Pizza, finally getting a sister in law, blueberry streusel muffins at Patrice's for breakfast, some fun senior parties back in 1998, lots of traveling with HCC, My wedding day, Honeymoon in the Bahamas, Thanksgiving day 2008, Ole Miss, Campus Crusades, swinging & rocking on my front porch, Sweet tea with lemon, Granny Jo's breakfast, traveling with my family, our first home as a family, beach trips with friends and family, Vail, Country Club luncheons, watching Tanner grow and learn, enjoying Mom & Dad's beautiful land on the NT, reading with Tanner, spending time at the barn with my family. I don't know if any of this makes sense, but I wanted to be able to look back at this a long time from now and smile at the things that stuck out in my mind at 31!

Perfect

Mom got me this great frame at Mistletoe this past year. I have had Tanner's cute little turkey hand print hanging in it, until yesterday when I came across his silhouette portrait we had done at Peas and Carrots last year. I could not be happier with it!!

Celebrate!

Jean, Richard, Grandad, Grandmama, Stephanie, & Rick
Thanks Hogan for the ride...
and Griffin!
Then, Hogan rested...
Richard, Scott, Aunt B, Steph, Rick, Grandmom, Grandad, & Hogan waiting for the sausage dogs to get ready! We didn't get a picture of the folks sitting at the picnic tables...Shelia, Taylor, Patrice, Junior, Ginger, John, Uncle Philip, Daddy, & Aunt Joyce. Of course, DeeDee was running around the whole time, so we didn't get her picture either! Also, we missed the family that wasn't able to make it...
Shoveling in some birthday cake!
The Birthday Girl and Anna
Robert and AC with me on the tractor...
The yummy birthday cake that DeeDee got...
Rolling down the big hill...
The cooks...Da is a great cook!
The petals...
The rose I gave Mommy.
We had a great time yesterday celebrating Mom's 31st birthday at the barn with family! Beyond blessed for sure...

Who's Birthday Is It?

Aunt B is so sweet to always play with me!
Wonder what is in this card...
I don't know who was more excited about the mixer, me or Mommy?!

I got up yesterday wanting to open Mom's big present that was sitting on the table. Mommy didn't mind! We can't wait to bake something this afternoon with the new mixer... Thanks DeeDee and Da!

Breakfast

This was the same morning as the post below. Tanner was at the top of the stairs feeding Mayer his fruit loops one by one...I am so thankful Mayer is laid back and pretty much does whatever Tanner says!

...

This was sometime last week before heading out the door to school....Tanner had dropped some of his fruit loops and Mayer was cleaning them up. Guess I should've labeled this post "Early Morning Clean-Up Crew!"

Bug Catcher

Checking out our first catch...

I love to find bugs in the front yard, so today DeeDee came to visit and got me a few little must haves for my bug searches...a bug house, complete with a magnifying glass, tweezers, and another thing we don't know the name for, and she even got me a nice big net to catch the bugs with. I was so proud of all of it! Also, notice my newest monster truck that I have carried around since Amaw got it for me yesterday. This monster trucks name is Donkey Kong. I have quiet the collection these days of monster trucks!

...

Goodbye.

Bye bye. So long. Farewell. Later tater. However you wanna say it...they are gone.
Tanner has been without these for several days now. He called them papi or papito...they were good to us while they were around. They helped us all get some sleep here and there and were just so cute in my little man's mouth. But, he is a growing boy now. I knew he would not want them when he got to high school, so I was never too worried about getting rid of them. I didn't know the day would come so soon though. Once again, he's growing up too fast!
