18 months and counting...

This past week our sweet little man turned 18 months old...
What a blessing each and every moment of this time has been!
Tanner is so busy these days. He loves to be outside mowing the yard with his little mower and loves to dance to the Mickey Mouse clubhouse theme song in the mornings. He is saying so many words and is much easier to understand these days. Some of his favorite words are tractor, dirt-"dit", lawn mower "monmower", outside, Daddy, Da, Mayer-"NaNa", Mommy, big truck, and ball. It is such a blessing to have such a happy, healthy little boy. Brian and I never dreamed we would have such an adorable little blessing. I pray each day that he grows up to be a blessing to the world around him. We love you Tanman, Mom & Dad

Busy in brown

Friday I went to daycare for a couple of hours so that Mom could run some errands....we learned about the color brown this past week, so I got all decked out to celebrate the color brown!
working on my leap frog
watching the garbage truck...

The highlight of the end of my week...early Friday morning the garbage truck comes through the neighborhood. This past Friday they even honked at me. I wave and the nice gentleman waves back. Mom and I start watching at the front door, then run to the front bedroom so that I can make sure and watch them work a few more houses down.

Snow cone truck...

Thursday Mamaw came and spent the day with us. We had a great time. We were outside playing and the snow cone truck came through the neighborhood! Yummy summertime treat!

Splish Splashin'

2 month follow up with urologist...

I got to pick out a prize at Target ...this awesome Lego tractor is what I got!
Giving Dr. Williams a high five for my great checkup. He says to come back in a year for an ultrasound just to make sure all still looks good.
Patiently waiting to see Dr. Williams, the pediatric urologist that did my surgery in March.
This is Dr. Riggs showing us the pictures he took during the VCUG. He showed us the pictures from before the surgery and what I looked like today. It was unbelievable to see how much difference there was. The pictures today show that I am no longer refluxing and my bladder is holding normal capacity! Praise the Lord!
Waiting on the nurse and Dr. Riggs to get ready for my VCUG. It was awful, but overall I did really good today. I am still pretty sore from all of it, but will not ever have to do that again. We are so thankful that this is all behind us and are more than blessed to have friends and family that prayed, visited, emailed, called, and fed us over the past year and a half while we went through the ups and downs of me having urinary reflux.

Sunday afternoon Swim!

This is my little pool for our yard that I will be enjoying this summer. It is just the right size and I enjoy splashing around in the water. Happy days ahead... and 90 degree weather. Gotta love a MS summer!

A week of fun...

Popsicle #1...
Taking a little break...And, this is popsicle #2 (yes, all in about 30 minutes!)
Sweet boy!
Is this where vandalism starts? Thank you sidewalk chalk people. Anyway, Mommy loves my artwork...even if it is in places that are not even considered a "sidewalk."
This was last week when we went to the Lafayette football jamboree to watch Mark and the Kosciusko Whippets. I did not last very long because it was a very hot afternoon. It was great to see Aunt Jean and Uncle Richard and some other friends from Kosy! Yeah Mark...We are proud of you!!

This is my awesome little chair that DeeDa got me. I love to sit in it and read! Thanks:)

All of these pics are from last week...just a little behind!

Florence, AL

Playing at the park on the Tennessse River...The camera went dead, so this is all of the pics until we can upload some from Mom's phone.
Of course, a tractor stop!
Pointing at the birds...
We enjoyed our time in downtown Florence.
Saturday morning we headed to Florence, AL to see Grandpa and Sue. We had lunch at Rosie's, headed to the tractor store, then had a fun afternoon at the park. Once we got back home we went out to Uncle Gary's and had a supper with Memaw and the rest of the family! We had such a fun Saturday...

Chick-fil-a

Mommy and I had a fun time visiting with Mrs. Jennifer and Austin this afternoon.
I had such a great time!
I climbed all the way to the top very quickly and had a great time crawling through all the tunnels.
Sweet Austin...
I looked a my little book that was in my kids' meal and looked at the tractor that was parked outside. I made sure everyone in Chick-fil-a knew there was a tractor parked outside!

Sprinkler

Yesterday afternoon Daddy got out the sprinkler to see what I thought about it...looks like this will be a fun way to cool off and enjoy the outdoors this summer!

Finally...

This is my favorite place in the whole house. Mom and Dad's closet. Yesterday I was in the closet hollering "tractor" over and over. Mom came in and finally realized where the tractor was...on a John Mayer shirt that Daddy gave her a long time ago! Now, I love to go to the closet and sit on the step ladder and hold the tractor shirt.
Brushing for a reason... My FIRST TOOTH!!! Yes, I am 17 months old and my first tooth is breaking through on the bottom. Mom found it this afternoon. I ran fever all last week and spiked a fever this weekend, so we finally have the cause of all that crazy fever. We are so thankful to finally have a tooth because at 18 months Dr. Molly said we would start getting worried. Of course, I waited til the last minute:)
Thanks to DeeDee and Pepaw for letting me stay with them this past weekend. Mom went to a JA Conference in Mobile and Daddy was hoping to hunt(the rain did not let that happen). I had a good time with them and they took great care of me when I spiked my fever Saturday. I love y'all DeeDa. And, thanks for my Thomas outfit and my HotDog pjs.
