Outpatient Surgery

Thanks DeeDee and Da for my delivery yesterday afternoon after my nap. I have tried all the gummies and still have tons more! Also, thanks to all who called and texted to check on us.

This time yesterday morning we were playing in the LeBonheur Surgery Center waiting for Tanner to have an outpatient procedure done. Dr. Williams (pediatric urologist) and LeBonheur once again proved to be wonderful. It is such a blessing to have a children's hospital so close to us. I get tears in my eyes every time I think about how fabulous they are to take such good care of our baby for small procedures and other children in such big ways. I just cannot say enough...it touches my heart. Tanner did so good yesterday morning...we were actually very surprised since he couldn't have anything to eat or drink after he went to sleep Thursday night. We didn't take the camera in because we just were expecting an ill child and we didn't want to make the situation any worse...boy, were we wrong. We have some pictures on Brian's phone that I will try and upload later today. I guess all the fun toys and other things in the waiting room kept him occupied so there wasn't much down time to think about a breakfast bar and milk. And, right before he went back with the nurse for surgery he got to go through the bunny tunnel and pick out a prize...hopefully pics of that to come too!

On another note, we had such a great time Thursday night with Ashli. We enjoyed a very yummy supper at Old Vennice...Thanks Janet! And, had a great time once we got to Ashli's playing with Dakota, her dog. Sad I didn't get any pics of our time with them either. We will do better next time we go hang out with them, which we hope will be very soon!
